And it's just been released on DVD... The entire series, all 144 episodes! "Hill Street..." changed TV forever, and made everybody sit up and say "What the hell?"
The show's cast were just regular people, people you knew, people who were, or became friends. It took about a year ta catch on, but once it did...you were hooked! And I was too! I loved the show... Now I gotta get a TV, and a DVD player tu!

I LOVED that show. When it finally played out, I almost quit watching TV for years because it was too much trouble to keep track of a show and work the road. Even with a VCR. So, I never watched LA Law or NYPD Blue or any of that stuff that came later. It was almost like I unplugged the TV, except that didn't happen at the Valley abode.
Uh, Clavalin, I think it was on Thursday night for most of its run.
