SEATTLE - Two Seattle officers responding to a reported attack on Seattle firefighters collided on the way to the call Saturday, Seattle Police said.
While en route to the emergency back-up call at 7th Avenue and Cherry Street, the two cruisers crashed into one another at 7th Avenue and Pine Street.
The crash sent one of the patrol cars slamming into a parked tour bus on Pine Street.
The tour bus was empty, and the officers suffered "bumps and bruises" in the crash, police said.
A 41-year-old man was arrested for assaulting the Seattle firefighters, police said. None of the firefighters were injured.
The details surrounding the crash are still being investigated.
