I've backed my car into my driveway for last 25-years.
One..I park the car in the garage and the drivers side
is very favorable for loading and unloading. Another
is I'm very warmed-up in my driving skills after a
trip to town and making a lengthy back-up move to
my open garage door is no problemo. My car is in the
ready position to exit my driveway without running
over anything next time out.
