Who drives 2 1/2 hours to take their children to a Easter Egg hunt? It's Connecticut, wouldn't there be a lot of Easter Egg hunts in a state like Connecticut?

Back in the late 50's-early 60's all easter egg hunts took place in your own home. Mom & Dad would place items of interest everywhere at night when you were asleep. You were going to find a lot of candy in the morning. After I figured out my Mom & Dad were co-Easter Bunnies I lost interest in the day. Later in the early 1990's when I became a step-dad "outdoor" easter egg hunts became a yearly passage. All my nephews and step-daughter and some neighbor kids all acting like animals in pursuit of "plastic easter eggs". Yes some tears from the losers. Some tears from the winners as well as they open a plastic egg to find a penny. The plastic easter eggs I assembled contained Canadien coins of various demoninations.
Getting rid of Canadien coins has always involved some "slight of hand". One has no idea how they got
a Canadien coin in change without noticing but it happens all the time. So easter a good time to get
rid of my Canadien coins.

Then its this news of "marauding parents" at an easter egg hunt rampage.
