I already got apprehensions building in my gut as I think about the day I decide to do
my taxes for 2015. It can be done in one day via e-file. So what I'm concerned with is
is if I'm going to get dinged for not having any health coverage or not. 2014 I used
a form xxxx to state I couldn't afford health coverage for the last 12-months and that
was that. Got my full refund. So I understand that all penalties due IRS will be deducted
from refund if there are any. So I don't know until I get there .

Check and see IF the local library has the AARP folks doing the tax thing for 2015. Make an apt. They do it FREE, and will likely find you don't hafta pay any penalties. But do that ASAP!
If ya can't afford health care, IRS can't make ya pay for something ya can't afford. Period!
BTW, they do E-File right there on the spot. Are ya 55? Do it!

For tax year 2015, the ACA penalty is 2% of your household's annual taxable income, or $325 per adult and $162.50 per child, to a maximum of $975. For tax year 2016, the penalty will rise to 2.5% of your income, or $695 per adult and $347.50 per child, to a maximum of $2,085

IRS can make you pay if you don't make the effort to get it. My woman got hers via the State, no cost because she makes nothing. No penalty on her part to pay. So, Mr Krink, you will have a penalty if you didn't get health care.
One person that I did had to pay the penalty for about six months worth. The penalty was about $21 per month he didn't get the coverage.

Forcing an American to purchase something against their will is unconstitutional no matter what those brain dead phukks on the Supreme Court say. The prices are so damn high for health coverage, most workers can't afford it in any fashion so ObamaCare will penalize you. Where does that money go? The big health care for poor people pot?

You were paying for it anyway. Until the bodies of the poor pile up in the street because they are too poor to pay in advance for their ER visits and all their other healthcare, you're paying for it against your will anyway.
I don't want to buy military bases in Japan or Germany.

The whole US 'health-care' system is so fucked up, and biased, it's unbelievable! If the government regulates it, it's worse yet! This country oughta have a 'single payer' system, or have a free for ALL citizens, health care system. After all if we can afford to fund THREE wars via taxpayer monies, why not the health care system?
Because BIG business controls the extant system, and big business IS the goddamn government!

It's a tax if you don't buy. I don't want to pay for these people's emergency room visits anymore. Unless the hospitals and doctors can say, no pay? Lay down over there to die then, then you don't have to buy it.

All these poor people clogging up the emergency room with their little hurts and owwies, when I could be taken care of first. Don't they know who I am????

Freddie you sound like my mom worried that your "person tax contribution" per annum
is going to unpaid hospital bills. The truth be told you have no clue in the least where
your tax paid for a year...went to. Maybe all your taxes paid went into restoring the sand
dunes on a popular beach.

I figured I paid half the wages of an E-1 Airman. Washington probably has an Obamacare program for you to buy insurance. I am going to look it up right now.

So, just looked up the Washington Health Care plan finder. I put my numbers in and used $12000 for an annual income. Looks like they have a medicaid type plan at the amount. It all depends on your income to find the cost of a plan.

I make $1350 a month Freddy so where does that place me...in line with a McD's employee.

With that income, it says you probably qualify for Washington Apple Health.
