What is the proper way for a Foamer Hawg to proceed on those signals?

Foam bought an old signal, said he was putting it in his front yard and wiring it up so the wife could throw a switch inside the house that would lite up the signal as green come on home, yellow better tiptoe coming in, and red stay the hell away.....

I just happened to be working 3rd trick Blaine Wa. Christmas Eve 1982 and a pair of SD-45's all decked out in Xmas lights comes into Blaine and of course has to stop for a while. Never saw this coming as the BN never ran any Xmas specials but this was the idea of the train crew with a lot of help from the Interbay Roundhouse to just get this to stay affixed to a fast moving freight train for 125 miles. Just seeing a pair of SD-45's in Blaine would have been enough of a Xmas gift..but with strings of Xmas lights. Great moments.

See above for a timely reminder that Snippy is approaching old age. Not to be taken as a warning to the rest of the aging BurningJournaldotcom crowd.

If the Iron Chink knew Bill Barquist then I know I met the Iron Chink working in Whatcom County early 1980's.
Bill Barquist for those that never worked with/seen the man...looks just like Homer Simpson. Super reliable take
