Over in Madras, Oregon somebody had the right equipment ta film the event...all the hootin' and hollering, annoying at best. And takes a real asshole to whoot, woo-woo, goddamn fool! Ya about fuckin' ruin the experience for the rest of the people who were just awestruck! That shit earns a good, sound beating! I was at 93% totality and it was darker out for sure but not enough for the street lights to kick-on. Just a weird/different lighting to everywhere you look. So I mentioned I was going to try to take some pictures of the eclipse and I did and have to say they are "6 of 3billion" taken today. Why not use a Sunflower in a Solar Eclipse picture. This was my one chance to get some good pictures and dint blow it.
So there I was in Sterling, Colorado at 97% coverage. Having experienced 97%, I can tell you in seven years I'll be in Carbondale, IL for totality. The difference is, ahem, night and day.
