This YouTube vid is almost an hour, it's well worth a watch, especially if ya lived near any railroad growing up.
Most of the vid appears to have been filmed on 88mm film, then converted to digital media much later. They start out
with a couple odd ball 'smaller' Class Is, or subs of bigger railroads. Most surprising to me at least, is N&W power. Because they were primarily a coal hauler for so long, they continued firing their bigger power by coal, after all the bigs switched, or converted to oil.
Yeah, and they stuck with that plan for a long time. Sometime later, they discovered maybe that wasn't the best longterm plan. I get it, Snippy, but PHUKK the Green Team now and then and forever.

There at the 24:20 mark and definitely at the 24:59 mark looks like the Capital City to me. 24:20 looks like JO at the east end of Joyce Avenue and at the other, the grain elevators at Main Street in the Capital City, which I believe still stand but abandoned today.

"Krebs, or someone like him". I got the pleasure of working under Krebs at BN/BNSF. He got rid of the clerks. No love for Krebs.
Somewhere in my net travels Krebs has written a book and its for sale at bookstores. I wait for the book report I think.
