Wow, it hardly seems to be 11 years since this was foretold by a representative of CSX who was taking pictures of "Z" Tower
before it was torn down.
He said all you're gonna see is rusty rail in 10 years.
He was 1 year off.

Everett WA was known as the "City of Smokestacks" as it had Simpson Lee and Scott Paper and 2 Weyerhauser paper mills.
All the mills are gone/long gone. Bellingham had a Georgia Pacific pulp mill that stunk up Bham for 50-60-70yrs and it closed
6-7yrs ago. Nothing left of the facility which is hard to process for me but makes for a great new location for passing BNSF trains
to take pictures. Last I heard Port Townsend WA paper mill still running. Next I think Tacoma still might have a couple pulp mills
still creating the "Aroma of Tacoma".
