More Otr..., uh wait Oregon schitt! BIG crash with a log truck just down south in Brownsville. Sounds bad. Maybe the logs came loose, and dumped on top of a car.
Traffic looks ta be fucked up down there. No point chasing this one.

We had an encounter with a log truck in 1991. Phukking log trucks. Logs came loose.
Edit: I just now realized this happened 28 years ago today.

Suicide* by log truck? This IS a new one on me. But entirely possible.
More details, but not the whole story. Except that Jeep veered into the truck*.
BROWNSVILLE, Ore. - A driver in a Jeep died after crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding with a log truck*Thursday afternoon on Oregon Highway 228 between Interstate 5 and Brownsville.
Oregon State Police are waiting to notify next of kin before identifying the deceased.
"We're still investigating the cause of this crash," Sgt. Jeff Lewis said. "We don't have all the information together yet."
Medics took the truck driver to the hospital for treatment of injuries but he is expected to survive.
Oregon DOT warned that the highway could remain closed well into Thursday evening. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes.

Beginning Tuesday, July 16, the city of Lebanon will continue the 2019 Street Preservation Project on North Main Street between Morton Street and Highway 20.
The project includes grinding and repaving the existing roadway.
During this work, Main will be closed to through traffic between Morton Street and Highway 20, with detours in place. The work is expected to last a couple of days.
Residents in the affected areas will have reasonable access but should expect periods where driveway access may not be possible, in addition to other delays and related inconveniences.

Is *** considering living a hermit-like existence during this construction.
And that hurricane that ain't. Now the weather folks are calling it a 'tropical depression'! I don't know the difference, but it looks pretty fucked up from what I'm seen via CNN, and other news on the internets.I'm still glad to be living in the GPNW. And wouldn't trade it for any other part of the USA.
Small(er) town life suits me. I've lived in cities, and some pretty rural areas tu. Lebanon has been okay, compared to Newark, and Seattle!
