IF you forget your engineer's license and the RFE boards your train....he can download a temporary one on his phone and send it to you over text....and yes he will write you up, but you will still work the train.

My squadron always held our passports and then put them in the mission kit. No one was allowed to take them home. You could get your own passport and do with it as you wished.

I lost my license once (another silly mishap) and they printed out a paper for me to carry. Then, lo and behold, I found it.

When I was living on Whidbey Island in the mid-80's I discovered after I drove on the ferry boat
one night my wallet was still at home. No turning back. Just hope and pray you dont need anything
in the wallet for one night like maybe a way to pay for your ferry ticket home.
This is a good example of Mercury in Retrograde and Venus in Retrograde at the same time. No one was hurt no crash but a monetary loss and
compensating passengers who arrived 6hr later than planned whose trip was not pleasant because of the nature of the "delay". It was stupid but
believable. The pilot realizes he forgot passport just after takeoff. Super embarrassing.
Plane turns around after pilot forgets passport...
