Let's just see the rammifications of this "story". Tomato growers got fucked over, Pepper growers got fucked over. Millions if not billions of dollars were lost due to the slowness and incompetence of the FDA. Was it by design? Our food supplies seemingly are being attacked one by one. Mad Cow, bird flu, shortage of rice, shortage of wheat, weather wipes out the lemons, bananas, and on and on. Peppers have some of the highest residue content of pesticides. I would never buy a pepper that wasn't organic. It makes sense today to wash your produce really good. They allude to in the video that some processing company might be the source. Really makes sense to cripple the tomato and pepper growers for a fuckup at a food processing plant. I'm telling you that the only way to guarantee what you're eating these days is safe and not full of chemicals, pesticides, fungicides, salmonilla, hepititus, and the long list of evils is to grow your own food any way you can. I realize that not everybody has a green thumb and a space for a garden, next best thing is support your local growers, farmers markets, and spend that extra 20-30 cents a pound for something organic. What's next to be attacked? Carrots or Watermelon?
