A shitty season can happen to any team. I've witnessed
everything that can go wrong with Mariner's this season.
The planets are always on the move and where they were
last season is not where they are this season. Players have
sucky years for a reason. A MLB team has 25 players on the
roster with different birthdays and birth years. One player
can have 5 unbelievable years and then due to a planetary
transit, blows out a knee, or can't concentrate due to a family
situation, get's a DUI, or any of many things that would cause
a serious drop off in performance. The Yankees have been
playing hurt all year but appear they will finish with an above
.500 winning per centage. No I won't miss them in the post
season. The biggest story in the baseball playoffs this year will
be how far Tampa Bay gets. They are the story. Mercury goes
retrograde Sept. 24th until Oct 15th. MIR usually favors the
underdog. Question is...is Tampa Bay an underdog after being
on top of the AL East almost all year? Who gets in the World
Series is going to be fun to watch.

Yes a shitty season can happen to any team......even the overpriced underachievers in the Bronx.....such a terrible curtain call for Yankee Stadium.

Boston has an overpriced payroll, the LA Angels have
an over priced payroll, the Chicago White Sox must be
close to being an overpriced payroll. What happens if
Tampa Bay or the Minnesota Twins get into the playoffs
with the lowest payroll and kicks ass. The same could
happen in the National League with the Brewers. Like
Bobby Cox figured out many years ago, the baseball
playoffs are a crap shoot. The post season is for the
unheralded players to make a difference. The light hitting
utility 2nd baseman who has a home run and a double
with 3 RBI's can seriously change the picture. Can't wait
to see what happens this year.
