Roberts Bank, British Columbia is an area on the south side of the estuary of the Fraser River approximately 35 kilometers south of Vancouver. It is significant as both a transport hub because of the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and port because of the Roberts Bank Superport, and as an area with important wetland habitat.

On one of my unathorized student trips in the
early 1980's, I got to ride the New West Local
out of Bellingham. The ARCO refinery at Cherry
Point produces coke and there are 3-4 trains worth
a week that go to Roberts Bank for dumping.
I got to ride through the rotating dumper and have
pictures of the whole operation. Roberts Bank is an
amazing facility with fucking huge mountains of coal,
coke, sulphur, and other stuff with miles of conveyer belts
running all over the place. CN-CP do most of the contributing
but BN/BNSF does a good business there too. The Cherry
Point ARCO coke business has been going on for over 30 years.
There used to be a MRL coke train out of Montana that was
a regular and the Wyoming coal was infrequent until just
lately as there seems to be one train a day now.

Yeah Cy. Seems HHBs around an awful lot lately. Especially since he owes Comcast like FIVE years worth of payments never made to continue using them as an ISP!

No wonder Uke received yet another 'promotional' ad from Comcast today! They want my bizness ta help defray HHB, who's in arrears far too deep ta ever get out!

Comcast Building

One of the windows that needs to be fixed.

Bob needs to pay his bill so Freddy and I don't have to look at that unsightly missing window.
Comcast Building by pyrosarco.
The Comcast Building, down town Philadelphia, 2 billion dollar project, 56 million dollars of glass.

There is a 27 million dollar tv going in the lobby, and there is a glass staircase from the 49th to 54th floor.

It takes a day to replace 2 windows in the building.
This photo has notes. Move your mouse over the photo to see them.
