3 1/2 years after our last one expired, and 1 year after rejecting the only one ever put forward, we finally got another one to look at and vote on. Of course people have already decided not to vote on it even though they don't have a copy yet, they are just running on what others have told them.
The benevolent company has graciously decided to do away with the 6-1 schedule that we are on now and implement 6-3's. I think that most of the guys are able to see through this, at least I hope they do. I don't want anyone voting for a contract just to get out from under the 6-1's.

Well, our contract was ratified yesterday. 94% return, 222 votes for, 35 against. It takes effect Feb 1st. I have damn near 4 years backpay coming, sometime soon hopefully. Let's hope that the next round of negotiatting isn't nearly as painful.
