When he got to heaven, God was showing him around.
They came to a modest little house with a faded Broncos flag in the window.
"This house is yours for eternity, John," said God.
"This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."
John felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Black and Gold sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Steeler logo flag, and in every window, a Terrible towel.
John looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I won 2 Super Bowls, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."
God said "So what's your point John?"
"Well, why does Chuck Knoll get a better house than me?"
God chuckled, and said "John, that's not Chucks house, It's mine.
You trying to get me to reply Cy? Of course I liked it. It's helping ease the nerves for the big game Sunday. I'm a bit concerned. The Steelers do not match up well against the Cardinals receivers. Plus the Steelers defense has never been great against teams who "spread it out". The Cardinals are the hot team right now. How in the fuck did they get beat as bad as they did during the regular season?
Isn't it the truth, Slug, isn't it the truth. You've got to wonder about that.
I feel no special affinity for either team so I've got to pull for the relatively OLD guy, it's a good story, regardless, he was more or less given up on quite awhile ago and now he's back. Sorry, can't pull for your team this time.
I myself am fine with either team winning: either way we keep the Lombardi Trophy in the "flyover country" where it belongs.
I suppose I'll be rooting for the Cardinals. After all, if a black guy can be President and the Arizona Cardinals win the Super Bowl, who knows what other miracles might be in store? My hair may even grow back.
Mercury will basically be at a standstill on Sunday. That can have an effect. Arizona and Pittsburgh both played well before MIR. Saturn opposes Uranus on Feb 5 and the influence of that aspect is being felt now. Not sure a winner could be picked as a result of that aspect but it will be a factor as well. While I like AZ, the winner of the Super Bowl will win because they are better. Celestial neutrality except for the forementioned aspects. It will be those hard hit turnovers rather than interceptions that will decide the game. That scenario would seem to favor Pitt, but AZ has different way of winning that I've witnessed many times against the Seahawks. Watchout for those miraculous 30-40 yard pass plays by AZ. Hopefully it's a game I want to watch until completion.

If they weren't playing the Steelers, I'd be rooting for the Cardinals too. I still like Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm. Speaking of Whisenhunt, he is still good friends with Dick LeBau. He knows what the Steelers defense is all about as he practiced against it for several years as the Steelers offensive coordinator. That's another thing that concerns me.
