Thats gotta be some kinda fence. A 3 thousand pound car going 180mph and flying about 15 feet in the air... Bet there was some sharting going on in the stands...

I watched every lap of this race. I clued you all about the
mars square pluto aspect "tinting" of this race. I find
Talladega Speedway to be out of this world to begin with.
2.66 mile oval with 3-4 story high banking in the
corners. The place is huge...beyond huge. It's a place where
NASCAR refuses to let the cars go as fast as they could.
Without the "restrictor plates", cars could be doing 220MPH
or more. Well they came up a way to keep the cars at "just"
200 MPH which is "a bit" safer. So what we have is basically
a parking lot of 43 cars moving at 195-205 MPH, 3-4-5 wide
at times. One figit or bobble or the slightest lack of concentration
and all hell breaks loose. We had the big one and we had the big one
part two and we had Carl Edwards in the most spectacular airborne
display at the finish line. A lot of damaged equipment from this race.
I tell you that NASCAR racing has come a long ways. It's worth
watching.

Yes Snippy I watched this race. I thought with an exact Mercury oppose Uranus
on this Sunday that there would be numerous "Big-Ones" but instead its a race
with "green-flag pitstops" and no "Big One"...until the last re-start where cars
were spinning and crashing everywhere at the finish line just seconds after the
leaders past the line to take the green flag and before the yellow came out which
which had Joey Lagano ahead of Dale Jr by a "splitter". Total scoring confusion
for NASCAR to figure out and it took them more than an hour to figure it out.
Something this insane to a finish of a huge race you can put in your Mercury
oppose Uranus mental notes. Real tough break for Dale Jr...inches from going
further in the chase. Next week at Martinsville.

Snippy's been fucking with Krink over the 29 car since Harvick used to drive it. The Krink is a #20 fan. Think the 20 car might leave some extra yellow paint on the 22 car before they take the checkered flag at Homestead.

Snippy got me figured out wrong as I'm not a big Joe Gibbs liker...actually
call me old school as I have this built-in rooting for the 48 car and he's not
in the chase. Seems we need to look for the "Shake'n'bake" team of Joey
Lagano and Brad K...the Penske boys to be hard to beat now.

Matt Kenseth picked the perfect time to get even with Joey Lagano and this
was pretty obvious to the millions watching. That crash could have ended with
just the one smash between them but Matt felt that Joey needed another smash.
Joey Lagano can still get a win in the next 2 weeks (Texas-Phoenix) and this
ugliness will be just a memory. So no 4-in-a-row for Lagano but a crowd pleasing
win by Jeff Gordon. Last time racing at Martinsville and he gets his 8th?
Grandfather Clock. Next week Texas Motor Speedway which is a place I like
watching on TV as its almost 200mph racing for hours on end.
