Well apparently racing for the lead and making contact and one car goes for a spin
is accepted like what Joey did to Matt at Kansas City. But its not ok for Matt Kenseth
to come out of the garage down 50 laps with banged-up racecar with no hood and
get going around in circles again to get a chance to take out Joey and Matt did a masterful
job of it. Kenseths season is already toast so a "lose your temper" penalty is not that
big of deal. Joey wins next week at Texas and all this disappears.

Danica got real fed up with some car all race (#38?) and she went

Since this thread is alive with NASCAR need to pass on my thoughts about
the 501 mile race at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday. I watched the first half
of the race on my HD TV and Brad K was all by himself for the whole race
until my favorite driver Jimmy Johnson put a great run on and end up in victory
lane. Think Jimmy did this to throw a fuck into the "Chase". I was in transit (or TUP)
during the last part of the race. Walked into my Sisters place in Bham and I see
the 48 car in victory lane. My bro-in-law is into NASCAR as well as he managed
to secure tickets to a sold-out Phoenix Raceway next Sunday and meet-up with
my nephew. This Phoenix race is going to be very intense. Thanks to my nephew
whos jobs seem to send him all over the Midwest and a boss that likes NASCAR.
Think the fans in attendance will see some unbelievable racing

That was a pretty interesting race at Texas wasn't it Snippy. First bit of bad luck happens
to the 22 car with more than a blown tire. While some might have snickered at Joey's
misfortune the 4 car had the same thing a blown tire and had to pit and get behind.
Harvick is a fast racer works back up to the top 5 and has another tire blow and has to
pit again and gets behind again. Kevin Harvick drove a 100 laps around Texas Motor
Speedway "with one hand" on the steering wheel and the other hand holding onto
the gearshift or it would pop-out of gear and got a 3rd place finish for the day.
Jimmy Johnson picked the right time to win a race as his payday was $463K to win.
Brad K earned $394K and Kevin Harvick $280K for 3rd place. 43rd place Ryan Blaney
dint complete the 1st lap due to accident and goes home with $74K.

"It's not going to change how I race, I'm going to be more fired up, probably less tolerant, and I'm planning on from here on out being a lot more aggressive," Kenseth said. "I feel like sometimes I try too hard and I need to just let it be, there are some people who are just not going to like me."

As for the Penske drivers, he added that his retaliation has likely had its intended effect:

"If it's Joey or Brad or whoever the guy is in that spot, they need to think about that before they lift your rear tires off the ground at 200 mph and take you out," he said. "I think Joey is going to think about that the next time. He may do the same thing, but he'll think about that one way or another, we're going to even the score."
