Fugitive found on NS train
ROME, Ga. -- A North Carolina man remained jailed Saturday on felony fugitive warrants after he was found on a Norfolk Southern train in Rome on Friday night, reports stated.

According to Rome police reports:

Tony Cornelious Locklear, 34, of a Pembroke, N.C., address, was charged with criminal trespass and a felony charge for being a fugitive from justice after crews working on a Norfolk Southern train first spotted him on the back of the train in the Lindale area.

Reports stated Locklear was taken into custody off of Tolbert Street at the Norfolk Southern train yard, where police were waiting for him.

After he was taken into custody and searched, police were informed he had an active warrant for his arrest in Virginia Beach, Va., where he was wanted for vehicle theft.

He remained jailed Saturday night without bail due to his fugitive warrant.
