Are you a witness to this ? I'm not doubting you one bit but I live 5 mins from Ohiopyle and go though there and stop there all the time and have never seen anything like this. If they are throwing at the power, the crews got radios.

I don't know how much of a threat rock throwers pose to HazMat cars built to withstand a derailment.

I've also heard the closest CSX police get to Cumberland is Pittsburgh and Baltimore, where they have bigger fish to fry than rock throwers.

Incidentally, Cumberland is about a good 60 miles from Ohio Pyle, not to mention another state.

I havent seen a B&O bull in Cumberland for years now. I think they might be based out of Pittsburgh.

I believe they are still based at Glenwood. They had a trailer there for years but I believe they may have moved over to the old Terminal Service building once the AVRR took over there. I see them occasionally at the Amity St crossing down the Waterfront along with Homestead PD tagging cars that weave through the gates.
