CSX names successor to Ingram
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- David A. Brown will become chief operating officer of CSX when Tony Ingram retires at the end of the year, reports the Associated Press.

Brown, 50, has a nearly 30-year railroad career, most recently serving as vice president and chief transportation officer.

Cindy M. Sanborn, 44, will succeed Brown as chief transportation officer.

Ingram has worked in the railroad industry for nearly 40 years, according to a statement issued by CSX.
