My dad worked in construction and there was always a building/hut where the men
ate their lunch. Time after time my dad would mention at the dinner table at home
about some of the funniest moments of his day and there would be a good chance
of hearing about a fart that cleared the lunchroom diners to the outdoors. Why are
farts so funny...maybe the sound...I don't know.

Hardcore. TW5k has boundaries. 2-4-d is the limit, nowadays. Way back in the olden days a fresh young conductor pilot was sent out forced on Vegetation Control mission with a contract outfit of that name V.C., from the states using 2-4-5-t methoxychlor (aka agent orange) for 1 tour. Those 2 guys on that truck wore no masks. They were in their early twenties and looked twice that. One of them gave me a well travelled passed around copy of Fear and Loathing in las Vegas.

So one of the most disgusting food items today is the "English Muffin". MCCronalds
comes out with the "Egg Mcmuffin" a long time ago. Eat a couple of those and its sure
to cause constipation. Maybe when McCronalds introduced the English Muffin to the masses
the ingredients of English muffins aren't as numerous as today. My go to bread making book
lists the ingredients to make English Muffins. 3/4 cup of water, 1 egg, 3-cups of bread flour,
3 tbsp. of oil, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. malt vinegar, 1 1/2 tsp of Red Star active dry yeast.
So here are the ingredients in a store bought package of 6-sourdough English Muffins...

Enriched Unbleached Wheat Flour (Wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron,
Thiamin mononitrate, Riboflavin, and folic acid)
Water
Yeast

Contains 2% or less of each of the following:
Cornmeal
High Fructose Corn syrup
Salt
Distilled vinegar
Vegetable oil (Canola and/or Soy)
Yeast nutrient (ammonia sulphate)
Dough conditioners (Protease, ascorbic acid, mono-diglycerides)
Fumaric acid
sodium diacetate
Lactic acic
sodium dioxide
calcium propionate
potassium sorbate
(Mold inhibitors)
Calcium sulphate
Enzymes
Nonfat dry milk

Its a tragedy people eat these things today.

Yeah you're right Krink.

Bastards offer them all day now to offset diminishing market share.

No. Just say no.

The question remains, "Why is McDonalds more popular now (2018) than ever before? Simplest answer. Which translates to: I'm hungry now, right now. I want something fast, cheap, tasty, and filling... There it is!

It seems like some people dont know what good food is and havent really taken a look at the food facts and ingredients in McDonalds food.

Its a good thing my life's path took me to cooking and raising my own food
in the garden. Canning and preserving and freezing. A complete knowledge
of old recipes and simple ingredients. That quality of food carried on by
"individuals" today as its what we want to eat. Food purchased today in a
store is the "dark-side of food". Food purchased at a fast-food place is the
"dark-side of food". The "Dark side of food" is everywhere. The reason the
"Dark Side of Food" is so prevelent is they brainwash the public by "taste".
If it tastes good its a winner. That how deep most people are...I dont care
how they make it taste so good. Eat a bag of Cheetos til they are gone.
So much crunching going on and that perfect salty/cheddar "taste" and
the bag does not last long plus you got orange all over your fingers and lips
which is not cheese but some group of chemicals they made orange in color.
Food today has become a science project to raise enough bad food for the masses.

Cheetos suck but potato chips, mmmmmmmm. Yes, I know it's the dark side and I do avoid them almost all the time.

Lack of education is why they are as popular as they still are.

Cooking skills and basic nutritional knowledge escape the brainwashed masses.

I know that this side of the border, other outfits are eating Ronnie's lunch in terms of market share.

A & W and Tim Horton's tu name a couple.

So I come across this "FlavCity with Bobby Parrish" on YouTube and he's got a lot of things of interest if you like food.
This guy is just like me in so many ways. I read ingredients on labels all the time and know what to put back on the
shelf. But have to say I've been more curious as to "Natural Flavoring" lately myself. Turns out to be what I thought
but so easy to think that "Natural Flavoring" is good. Now if it said "Artificial Colors and Flavoring" you know that is shit.
But "Natural Flavoring" sneaks in there with little suspicion/concern. Time to be concerned. By the time you weed out the
items in your pantry containing "Natural Flavors/ing" you may have an empty pantry. Lots more on YouTube about "Natural Flavoring"
to get more conformation. Check other videos by FlavCity with Bobby Parrish as he covers some interesting ground.
