A 28-year-old Hampton Bays man was arrested Friday night after he spit blood on a Long Island Rail Road employee on the East End, Southampton Town Police told the Long Island Press.
Fernando Good, who was highly intoxicated, had several arguments with passengers on an eastbound train from Jamaica, Queens, police said.
In the Eastport area, Good pushed a passenger and, when LIRR employees attempted to intervene, Good pushed and spit blood onto the trains brakeman, police said.
When officers attempted to arrest Good at the Speonk station, he refused to place his hands behind his back and struggled with the officers shortly before 11 p.m.
He was charged with resisting arrest and two counts of harassment. MTA police are also conducting an investigation into the incident and additional charges may be forthcoming.
Good will be arraigned Saturday at Southampton Town Justice Court.
