It's an old BNSF. We can only wish somebody would come get ours.

Maybe they could get those 8300's and 8400's first, though.

At least somebody at the paint shop knew how to mount the friggin' side mirror.

Uke wonders how much CN put inta these Dash-8s... That one pictured has new wheels. The whl/motors cost about $14-K apiece. Perhaps they have been rebuilt. Blackie will know soon's he gets 'home' again!

That unit pictured is former CNW. The BNSF units have the north american cab on them. I have been blessed with not having one inflicted on me...yet.

The former BN ones have TWO brooms. One for the cab, and another for the switches, with an 'ice-pick' thingie at the opposite end. Now how kewl is that? CN wouldn't offer that on their own!

Uh, Uke?  Ummm, those type of brooms are fairly common on LINTCO units.  We have them in case we need tu clean snow and ice from switches, and in case any manager is riding with and he/she/it gets a call that he/she/it needs tu be someplace else right away.  They can fly away on the broom instead of trying tu arrange a ride back tu their Little-Big-Trucks.
