Danny Kirwan has died, Fleetwood Mac guitarist in their blues days:

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) Danny Kirwan, a key force in Fleetwood Macs bluesy three-guitar attack of the late 60s and as a singer and songwriter on the groups transitional albums of the early 70s, died Friday. He was 68.

No details about his death were immediately available. The bands founding drummer Mick Fleetwood acknowledged Kirwans passing in a statement for the group on his Facebook page Friday evening.

Danny was a huge force in our early years, Fleetwood wrote. His love for the blues led him to being asked to join Fleetwood Mac in 1968, where he made his musical home for many years.

Dannys true legacy, in my mind, will forever live on in the music he wrote and played so beautifully as a part of the foundation of Fleetwood Mac ... Thank you, Danny Kirwan. You will forever be missed!

Bourdain ate a lot of schitt that no sane person was likely to consider edible. Including yers truly. But he sure could spin a great yarn about the countries and the cuisine wherever his travels took him! A great cook, and foodie!

And a very good story teller, and he had a critic's eye about cultural influences on food! Whatever locals eat every day.

Pawn Stars guy dies. My sister and BIL went there once, just to see it. Big line and those guys weren't there, they just show up to film the show and stay away the rest of the time.

(CNN)Richard Harrison, best known to viewers of the History Channel reality series "Pawn Stars" as "The Old Man," died Monday morning after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, according to his son, Rick Harrison.

Rick Harrison, who co-starred with his father on the series, said on Instagram that his father died "surrounded by those he loved."

Dan Ingram, the famed New York DJ who was a pioneer of AM top 40 radio, died on Sunday in his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was 83. Ingram had numerous neurological problems over the last few years due to a diagnosis of Parkinsonian Syndrome in 2014. But according to his son, Christopher, his death was unrelated to his disease. Instead, Ingram died choking on a piece of steak, Christopher told The Times.

With a deep voice that conveyed mischief, Mr. Ingram addressed his fans as Kemosabe (the Native American character Tontos term of endearment for the Lone Ranger). He variously called his show the Ingram mess, the Ingram flingram or the Ingram travesty. And each day he named an honor group (like trombonists or garbagemen) and announced a word of the day, with a twisted definition.

Contravene, he once said, is something that prevents babies.

NEW YORK (AP) Joseph Jackson, the strong, fearsome patriarch of the musical Jackson family, has died, according to a person close to the family.

The person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not allowed to discuss the topic publicly, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Jackson died but had no additional information. He was 89.

Stanley Anderson Dies: Spider-Man & Seinfeld Actor Was 78

Stage, film and TV actor Stanley Anderson, known for his role as the judge in the final episode of Seinfeld and as General Slocum in Spider-Man, has died. Anderson passed away June 24, six weeks after being diagnosed with brain cancer, according to a statement from his family. He was 78.

Anderson began his professional acting career on the stage, first with the Seattle Repertory Theatre, then the Actors Theatre of Louisville. He went on to spend more than 20 years at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. where he earned a Helen Hayes Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Piggy Bank.

Anderson later sequed to film and TV. In addition to Spider-Man, his feature work included roles as the President of the United States in Michael Bays Armageddon and The Rock. His most recent film credits include Red Dragon, Legally Blonde 2 and Runaway Jury. On TV, he had a recurring role as Drew Careys dad on The Drew Carey Show and played the memorable role of Judge Vandelay in the final episode of Seinfeld.

Anderson also was a longtime member of three unions for actors, according to his family, and worked behind the scenes doing voiceover work in ads for Democratic candidates and issues across the country.

He was most proud, ultimately, of the part he played in politics, his family said.
