I went on a mega railfan trip back in 1980. Need to know the name of the subdivision that runs between Prince George and Jasper and the subdivision(s) that run between Jasper and Kamloops. I got several pictures I took north of Blue River that I have no idea what locations they are. One is at MP 242. If I can figure out what station sign MP 242 is near would be a big help.
Jasper to Kamloops is the Blue River Subdivision. Blue River is the halfway terminal. About halfway to Blue River from Jasper at Tete Jaune Junction the Tete Jaune subdivision starts the run Northwest to Mcbride, Britsh Columbia. Tete Jaune means Yellowhead en Francais. The Fraser Subdivision runs Mcbride to Prince George. Nice to see the gang still hanging out together.
Thank You TW for the info. I sort of had to push on with my project being vague. I'm one of the few that cares about shit like this. Hard to believe it been 30+ years since I made that trip.

Hey Krink, my memeory fails me and I do not have that timetable either.
I did realize the track from Jasper to Kamloops is the Albreda Sub. If Mile 242 was on that one you would have been somewhere pretty close to Blue River that day. Apologizing for the confusion.

Think I came up with Albreda, Clemina, and Valemount for those pix. Have a 1992 Official Guide of the Railways that has a very detailed CN map. Guessing Clemina is the double track since there is an east and west one listed. Not an area that gets a lot railfans. Lot's of trees my man, lot's of trees.
