Return of the SD60Ms?

Dear Ueck,

In the last month or so I have been seeing SD60Ms on all sorts of trains coming through town. Hell, I even saw an old ex-Oakway. I thought they were all mothballed at Northtown - I have the pictures to prove it. Is traffic up again, or is there another rash of Dash 9 failures going on?

Your pal,
Lake Tower

We're runnin' 'em in and outa here lately... They'll be mixed into a combo of bigger EMDs, and trail with GE's for a few extra ponies across the 'hill' when tonnage creeps up, and they can't find enough Dash-9s.

They've been renumbered from BN's 9200 series, and now sport BNsf 8100s... The SD-75 series of Santa Fe heritage are running around all over BNsf as 8200 numbers.

Later 75s are getting the 'heritage-2' paint (orange/green). And they're the ones with fewer mileage, and run in lead on mixed trains.
