Cut two wheels taday. Yep. Both very thin...saved the Geep, but scrapped the GE. Came here after tripping a WILD wheel alarm out on the main somewhere.

Brought it in hoping we could true it and save the wheel. Nope! Four cuts ta clean up a huge shell spot... After the fourth cut... Hadda admit it turned ta scrap! I had my doubts when I measured it, then spun it ta look at the damaged spot.

Called our pal G.I. Jimmy for a look-see... I told him that it didn't look good. He said give it a whirl...so I did. And failed.

Jim V. put the machine back together with the old parts, except for a new seal, and bearings. The main drive gear they'd sent was wrong (Too big), but we kept all the other parts for the rebuild once they arrive. Tear it down, and rebuild with all new parts...except the seals, and bearing.

She cuts fine, but howls like a stuck pig!
