Betcher ass the FRA, and investigators from CSX are gonna find bad wheels somewhere, or a slightly displaced (Out of gauge) section where the first 65 (Heavies) ran through, before it's all over.

With the railroad carriers move towards 'less frequent' inspections of cars/ROW/track, and FRA being petitioned to allow such... We may see more, rather than fewer accidents in future days ta come!

There 2 issues with that,

1. The new Railway Safety Act will fix alot of the over looked rules

2. The actual owner of the car or cars in question, not the company leasing the car requires that it be repaired by them or a "approved" repair facility ( never one in Canada ) so the cars are shipped south of the border loaded or empty to be repaired there. I've run into this several times with cars with a thin flange or a damaged safety appliance ( step, cross over platform etc ) you turn it it or shop it as Freddie would say, and the company says ship it! with a notation of course. The breech of contract fine far out weighs any ministerial fine!
