There is a theory that consumption of some preservatives will preserve us.

Whether that is dead or alive we are not sure.

Seems the cheap MCD's hamberger has many of the

same characteristicts as a Hostess Twinkie as far

as "longevity". I wunt want to be the "taste tester"

to see how good this 14-year old MCD's hamberger

tastes on one plate and a 14 year old twinkie on

another plate. Neither can be considered a "food source".

This McDonald's burger looks the same as the day it was cooked... 14 years ago

I trust my own cooking these days. I buy the fresh ingredients, the meats,
and whatever I cook tonight will meet my standards. While the first 20 years
of the fast-food industry got a lot of my money, the last 15 havent got more
than a $20.

Mrs Krink worked at Mcd's right after high school in 1974.
A short term thing on her way to working at GTE/Verizon
for 31 years. She remembers how Mcd's made/took a lot
of effort to keep the restrooms clean on a daily basis.
When we traveled all over the country and the need to
pee came on, it was "where is the nearest Mcd's?".
Probably more Mcd's than public restrooms or gas
station restrooms in a city. I know the one on 41st Street
in Everett saved my life one day...as a public restroom
right off I-5. So if you dont care for their "grub" you can
appreciate clean restrooms (I'm thinking in most cases).

Our late brother, Tu, enjoyed his kaffeeklatsch gatherings there at McD's.  That's all I can say about that.

Yes he did, indeed! Tu enjoyed every refill of that Mickey D's coffee!

Very late. Have you noticed a post authored by Tu since...oh say...early March?

No...and whats weird is I started spelling "too" instead of "tuu"
about that time. Like the novelty had worn-out. Last image
of Tu I have in my mind is him stuffing a loaf of my banana
bread in the saddle-bag of his motorcycle, starting the bike
and wave as he left my driveway. There was another visit
where he hooked up a girlfriend in Seattle (or nearby) and
they came up to visit me and go out and eat Thai food.
Interesting girlfriend. She asked me what I thought the end
of the Mayan Calendar might be. Tu was still showing the
effects of recently getting laid and our typical conversation
went elsewheres. I got to see him twice in my life...
and there has to be some reason for it.
