Some Via Rail passengers had their travel plans interrupted but were uninjured after a derailment near Togo, Sask. on Sunday.

It happened around 6 p.m. close to the hamlet, which is located in the east-central part of the province next to the border with Manitoba.

TW5K, there seems to be a noticeable absence of water. Perhaps a far North sinkhole, instead. Snippy will want to know what the temperature was Canadian.

 Perhaps the water was let loose before that camera got there. I know the track was patrolled in the morning hours and no traffic til  the trusty ole VIA # 693 came along in the evening. Good thing for disc brake stopping power and the eagle eyed quick handed hog.

Go and read some of the remarks on YouTube under the BNSF train that ran into the open switch.  If that HAWG had been on the ball, it would have never happened.  Same goes here.

I know this is true because there's whistledicks* that said so.
