I go back to Chris Econimaki days and
ABC's "Wide World of Sports". We have
been blessed with "continuim" of great
racing announcers. I love the Waltrip
Brothers calling a race. The Jarrett's
have been calling races for decades.
Lot's of racing savy in the biggest arena.
Got curious about some of the
"astro-pairings" of these gifted individuals
of communication about racing.
Allen Bestwick (9-24-1961) Libra does most
of the talking as he gets to read all the promos
for up-coming events and is the lead voice
and one I'm comfortable with. Dale Jarrett
(11-26-1956) Sagittarius and a stellar career
as a racer and has raced on every track
many times and knows what to look for.
Andy Petree (8-15-1958) Leo is the crew
chief champ and knows these cars in/out
and always has interesting things to say.
The reporters in the field has some others
like Jamie Little and Dr Jerry Punch. Dr Jerry
Punch's astro chart is extraordinary as it
features a "super-stellium" of Venus-
Uranus-So. Node/Mercury/Mars/Pluto/
Sun. That is impressive. So what he has
to say during a race. If you got a fulltime
gig on TV you can bet your chart is
"special" in some way.
If you are in a horror movie, you make bad decisions, its what you do.
