I'm not hopping all over the place because Boston won
the world serious. Once the M's season was over I
only have a few choices to "root-for" but not "really"
root-for. The M's played Boston several times in 2013
and you know what to expect when you visit Boston
or Boston comes to Seattle. A batting order that is
always murder and the pitching keeps getting better.
The "bookend" Japanese relief pitchers had a lot to
say how the serious went. A lot of MIR plays throughout
the series. The city of Boston can use this Red Sox win
to go a long ways in getting well from a lot of things.

Most people would agree the city can get some recovery from this .

What about Cnippy though ? Who's gonna help him recover ?

Who wins the world serious can be the least of your concerns...
as long as it wasnt the Cards. Red Sox are the other team
so not much flexibitlity of choice.

BurningJournaldotcom advises poster Snippy to "just get over it!" since his favored Cardinals lost it... And enjoy the celebration along with all the other Boston Red Sox phans!

Red Sox parade: Boston celebrates World Series championship

Published 12 hours and 35 minutes ago Last updated 9 hours and 34 minutes ago

The Boston Red Sox took to the streets on Saturday to celebrate their World Series championship with the city of Boston.

Boston's famous duck boats were used as parade vehicles on Saturday, and were decked out in proper 2013 Boston Red Sox fashion.

The parade made it's way from Fenway Park to the Charles River. The best moment of the parade occurred when the team made a visit to the Boston Marathon finish line near Boylston street, the the sight of the horrific Boston Marathon bombings that took the lives of three people on April 15, 2013.

Outfielder Johnny Gomes and catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia placed the World Series trophy on the finish line and draped it in a "617 Boston Strong" Red Sox jersey.

Of course the Red Sox championship parade could not be complete without Officer Steve Horgan, who became an overnight celebrity following his reaction to David Ortiz's grand slam in Game 2 of the ALCS. Everybody's favorite "Bullpen Cop" got to rid along with Red Sox owner John Henry and team president Larry Lucchino.

Worst to first in a big way the Red Sox used the "Money-
Ball" approach to rebuild this club to a World Serious
Championship. I am a Mariners fan and once their season
is over with baseball is over to. The emotional attachment
is gone. Post-Season MLB on the tube will "force you to
choose" who you want to win even though you never
been to St. Louis or Boston. I find myself going "pro-AL"
just about every world serious. So Boston got it done.
Next is the Hot Stove League and who the next manager
of the Seattle Mariners might be.
