Matt Kenseth are tied in points.

Jeff Gordon and Kyle Bush right there

as well. All qualified well and in the top

starting spots. MIR race so it will be

interesting to see if how the "top-

group" does.

I happen to like the 48 car and driver and crew chief and they won-it at
Texas Motor Speedway in a very dominating fashion. 2-races to go
and they will be exciting.

I always check the sports page of my newspaper for what the
"payday" was for the winner of the NASCAR SprintCup race.
Texas was a big payday as Jimmie Johnson won nearly a
half-million dollars. Phoenix and Homestead will pay less than
half-that to win. I need to investigate what a driver actually
deposits into his bank account after every race depending
on finishing position. You can finish 43rd and win 65-70K
which is off the charts in any other form of motorsports.
This is the big time.
