Nice touch for the 8831 to have yellow border on the plow.

That yellow border identifies a plow that has been modified and has been accepted as permitted to operate in 3rd rail territory.

I wish the BN did this to every locomotive that was "OK for Canada".
Up until the early 1980's did Canada give way to any locomotive BN
wanted to run into Canada whether it had a snow plow or not. That
was the beginning of anything goes across now.
