BNSF re-fell in love with EMD after they put isolated cabs on the SD70ACe. In U.P. is very happy with EMD because for 1st time in many moons they ordered more EMD'S then GE'S. And don't forget that the SD70ACe/45 is selling like gangbusters in South American.

Interesting. I wonder about the sources though... How many of DO commentators/members are rails? Hogheads, and/or shop workers, who work on either EMD, or GE units?

Both GEs and EMDs have good points as well as bad, when it comes to maintaining 'em! But making a statement like "EMDs are all shit now..." or somesuch... If you have zero hands on experience, you have zero cred! Just reality when you talk to railroaders.

Obviously their audience are NOT rails! And "Frontrunner... Is he sitting behind the throttle... Every day?

Always consider the source. And never forget that everybody has an opinion, and an asshole...

All I could think of EMD the last few years I worked was, oh, how the mighty have fallen. GAWD, they sucked. Me, who wouldn't even buy a GE lightbulb because I hated their phukking power so bad.

I never joined the Tard Limits site or visited it ever after a few initial
visits to see if the place was "any fun". It wasnt a fun place so I stand
pat with the BJ. I've noticed many of you have been torn or show some
need to "resolve" some issues with the Tard Limits site/bunch.
Think you need to let all this go. Just think about the BJ or a BJ and
everything will be alright.
