The House Republicunts in Congreff kind of act that way, tu. They sit on one side. Their noise is noticeable. Difference is that they wear brownshirts and, between all of them, they can only muster up three "K"s.

I mentioned the Houston Astros being a thorn in the side for the M's,
but really its Jose Altuve..the 5'5'' 2nd baseman. This guy has single-
handly beat the M's on several occasions. You cant seem to get him
out. Altuve usually has 2-3 night or maybe a 3-4 night every game.
He can jump in the air for a line-drive at the height of Spud Webb
or Nate Robinson of NBA fame. You walk him and he steals a base
almost instantly. Need to call Altuve the "Baby Bull" as he's born
May 6 1990 right in the middle of Taurus Season. He also has a
Sun conjunct Mercury in Taurus oppose Pluto so you know the
intensity is going to be there day after day.

The M's starting pitching is about to transform into the "original
plan. Brandon Mauer had the Astros to only 2-runs for 4-innings
but he got ruffed-up for 6-runs and the Astro romp was on and
a 9-4 win. Brandon could ill-afford a bad start today as he will
more than likely sent down to Tacoma when James Paxton is activated
off the DL. Same goes for Chris Young as he started the season off
pitching great but not so much the last 2-3 starts. When Tywan Walker
gets back, Chris Young isnt a pitcher you would send to Tacoma so
he maybe on the "send you on your way list". So Sunday Iwakuma
gets his chance at the Astros. 3-0 record and pitching very very
good. M's need to go on a hitting spree and take a 3-1 series against
the "Stros".

Well the M's go 6-5 on the longest homestand of the season against
Houston (2-2), Angels (2-2), and 2-1 against Detroit. Still see the
reason to get excited about this team. .500 record heading into
a weird roadtrip with a make-up game at the Yankees Monday
night, then zip to Atlanta for 2 games, a day off in Saint Pete before
4-games with the Rays. King Felix "flew-ahead" to NYC yesterday
to get "climatized" and will be real glad to see the rest of the team
when they arrive. The King loves to pitch in New York so he will
have his stuff. Really like what I'm seeing with the M's. Some are
still struggling but you know some are going to bust loose in a
big way. Cano has a hand injury for the last 3-games and out of
the line-up but expected to play against the Yankees. Brandon
Mauer got sent down like I thought. Still waiting for James Paxton
and Tywan Walker to get the re-hab starts in the minors and
get into this M's 5-man rotation that could be a force after the
All-Star break.

The M's fly 3300 miles to NYC to play a "rained-out" game against
the New York Yankees. Seems a bit extreme to me but it works out
pretty well for the "schedulers" as its a quick trip to Atlanta for the next
night. Well it turns out this one game in New York was a chance
to get a 3-game series sweep as a month ago the M's took the
games 1 and 2. King Felix dint disappoint and he shut down the
Yankees once again in their ballpark and the M's sweep their only
trip(s) to New York for 2014. King Felix and Kyle Seager was all
that was needed Monday. The Yankees come to Safeco Field next
homestand and the farewell tour of "Number 2" Derek Jeter.

Wow what a great road-trip as the M's come home after going 6-1 against
the Yankees, the Braves, and the Rays. It seems the light has been turned
on for the Mariners. Lots of players getting playing time and making
contributions. Cole Gillespie, Endy Chavez, Joe Buck, Willie Bloomquist,
all getting key hits and spurring some offence. The pitching has been
pretty extraordinary except for one game against the Rays. King Felix
tosses 7-innings of shut-out ball and strikes out "15". The M's bullpen
has been "lights-out" with Fernando Rodney "shooting-arrows" alot
lately. So the M's come home from a 6-hour flight from Tampa FL
Monday night and play the Yankees at 7:10pm Tuesday night at Safeco.
Probly the most anticipated pitching match-up of the 2014 season so
far as the M's Hishashi Iwakuma goes against Masahiro Tanaka, the
pitcher the Yankees spent over a $100 million on. Tanaka has been
pitching like a $100 million pitcher so far this season so this should be
low scoring game but its MIR so maybe not. Hope the M's can "get"
to Tanaka. Big chance again for the Japanese Media to head to Seattle
as the "pitching match-up" plus Ichiro is still playing for the Yankees
and I already heard this game will be televised in Japan. Only time
the Yankees visit Safeco in 2014 and it will be the farewell to one
(I mean No 2) Derrick Jeter. Have to say I like Derrick Jeter as
he accomplished HOF numbers and I got see almost all of it.
Jeter always gives a good interview and someone you can like.
So lets see what team at Safeco Tuesday night exhibits the least
amount of jet-lag.

Well thanks to a MIR rainout at Kansas City Monday, the Yankees
get into Seattle at 2am. So the Yankees start their starter for that
game in KC for game one in Seattle instead of Tanaka so the big
Japanese showdown dint happen. Iwakuma pitched pretty good
and Jeter had a good game and the Yanks win 3-2.
See Mr Tanaka on Wednesday. Maybe the M's get back to PDT
winning ways.

Masahiro Tanaka is the real deal for the Yankees. Held the M's scoreless
for 8+ innings until Robinson Cano hit a 2-run homer late. Thankfully we
see him only once unless the M's get to the post-season.

Well "turnabout is fair play" as the Yankees sweep their only appearance
at Safeco in 2014. The M's swept the Yankees in NY earlier. Derrick Jeter
was on fire and caused damage all 3-games. Biggest story was the M's
starting pitching got hammered early and the M's offence was somewhere
else. The Yankees have a very good team of great players and when they
are healthy you can expect them to win a lot of games going forward.
So the Yankees head to Oakland and play the A's. Texas Rangers come
to Safeco for a 3-game series. Texas is really banged-up so the M's need
to take advantage. King Felix will start Friday night.

King Felix was King Felix tonight in several different ways. One.. he pitched
a masterpiece 8.1 shutout innings, a bunch of K's, and walked one. So
Felix good on his pitch-count starts the top of the 9th inning against
the Rangers and has recorded one out. Rangers have runners at 3rd and
1st and I dont know who hit it for the Rangers against Fernando Rodney
but it was a taylor-made double-play that of all people Robinson Cano
was "slightly-off" on the throw to first base. I'm pretty sure Robinson
Cano will make-up for it some time in the future when Felix is pitching.
These are the kinds of games that is Felix's trademark..pitching great
for 7-8-9 innings and no-run support and end-up losing 1-0, 2-0.
Well these performances dont go unknoticed by the "Cy Young"
selection team as they got Felix a Cy Young. Felix is pitching
so good right now. Seems the M's offence is being effected by MIR
and other celestial aspects and losing 4-straight at home. The M's
need to turn it around.

What a weird road-trip for the M's as they finished out a 2@home against
San Diego only to fly to SD to play 2 games at Petco Park. M's lost both
games and I can understand why as I felt this "sad-energy" coming
celestially. So onto the steamy hot confines of Kaufmann Stadium KC
for 3-game series. Hot in KC for the Sat-Sun day games into the 90's.
I can detect when a baseball player or umpire is sweating and I love to
see it because I sweat a lot myself. I love it that Iwakuma sweats
profusely as I dont think I ever saw Ichiro sweat at all. You always
keep hearing the media say "when it starts getting warm out" you
are going to see a bunch of hitters getting hot and lotza HRs.
The M's showed some ballsyness/tenacity against the Royals and
come back to Seattle with a sweep of the Royals in KC after the
Royals had just crested the AL Central standings for about a week.
So with no day-off the M's leave KC Sunday eve to Seattle to face
the Boston Red Sox only visit to Seattle Monday night. Bosox coming
from playing the A's Sunday so both the M's and Boston arriving late
in the day. King Felix all set to battle the Red Sox Monday night and
he's been pitching Cy Young numbers the last 4-5 starts.

I've been very curious about the Fernando Rodney "grabbing an imaginary
arrow and shooting it" routine after a save. "The Archer" is the description
for astrological sign Sagittarius so since Fernando is born Mar 18 1977 and
has a Sun/Moon in Pisces conjunct Mercury in Aries..where does this archer
thing come from? In astrology there is this process called "rectification" where
you can just twist the dial until it makes more sense..the birth time that is.
Well I had to twist Fernando's chart to the 11pm hour and behold...Sagittarius
Rising/Ascendant and a Neptune in Sagitarius in the first house. It makes perfect
sense to me now.

King Felix was King Felix as another "quality start" against the visiting Bosox.
7innings, 6 strikouts, no walks, 2 runs allowed. M's win 12-3 which is very
MIR to come home after a road-trip and go on an offensive explosion.
Hope the M's plane-flight home from KC they discussed how they can
win at Safeco because if they can do it consistantly they got a good
shot at the post-season.

Right now in the M's 5-man rotation is the No 5 starter, Erasmo Ramirez.
He's in that spot because of James Paxton on the DL. Erasmo gets his
5th straight no-decision tonight after going 4 2/3 innings, throwing
95 pitches but leaves with a 3-2 lead. Erasmo is going through some
pretty good luck when he's pitching as well going some 19 scoreless
innings in his previous combined starts that came to an end tonight.
I've seen Erasmo pitch when he is on and this little hurler has some
nasty stuff but not maybe quite ripe for bigtime just yet but he's
still a young feller and I think Erasmo's future will be in the bullpen
someday.

I talk a lot about the M's pitching which has been pretty good but I
need to start talking about the bats. The last 2 nights against Boston,
the M's line-up had for the first time "no-one hitting less than .200"
Brad Miller, Logan Morrison, all had have had a few great weeks with
the bat and BA's over .200 Kyle Seager loves hitting at Safeco Field.
Has another monster night as a continuation of the last time the
M's were in town. Kyle Seager can win a game with his night at the
plate. M's beat up on Boston in game 2....8-2. M's are showing some
"superiority" right now.

I cant help myself as I want to talk about the Mariners just about every night
as they are a winning team now. Wednesday game 3 against the Red Sox
had the M's going a for sweep of the visiting Red Sox but Iwakuma going
through some MIR issues gives up 5-runs for the 2nd game in a row.
The M's bullpen which is ranked at the top of the AL currently had a couple
pitching performances that need mention. Tom Wilhemsen comes in after
Iwakuma and pitches 3-innings of shutout ball. The M's have been trying
Brandon Maurer as a starter several times this season and several times he's
been sent down to Tacoma and I was a little worried that he may slip
through the cracks but the M's have found a place for this gifted pitcher
as a "fireball reliever". Just called up from Tacoma, Brandon Maurer
was firing 99mph fastballs for strikes and struckout 5 in the 8th/9th
inning in a losing cause. Too much Big Pappy and not enough Iwakuma
in this game as the Red Sox salvage a game in Seattle.

Well if the M's hope to be in the chase they need to turn around
their record at home and they made great strides there as they
take 2 of 3 from Boston and 2 of 3 from Cleveland on the short
homestand. King Felix pitched a 1-hit shutout over 8-innings
Sunday against Cleveland striking out 9. Felix with 10 wins before
the All-Star break means good things for the future. King Felix
will surely be your AL starter in the All-Star game in a couple weeks.
I love the way Robinson Cano "snapped" out of his short hitting
slump with 2-run shot that provided all the runs the M's would
need on this day. Now the M's fly-off to Houston for 3-game
series against the pesky Astros and then 3 against the White Sox.
All Central Time opponents as opposed to Eastern Time opponents.
Monday night at Houston Astros..wonder how the M's can get out
Altuve as he seems to do a lot of things with his bat and is a very
fast runner.

"The Good Ship Mariner" has arrived as this season is going the way
I hoped. Its like so many things are working all at once and this team
has "everything and every element" to just get better and just keep rising
up in the AL West standings . We (the MLB players since spring training
havent had a month of playing without Mars retrograde and Mercury
retrograde until the 1st of July). Seems the M's are first out of gates
when the planets arent retrograde which is a very good sign. The M's
I think got the memo on the Astros now that they are a AL team within
their divn, that you need to pound this team every chance you get.
Altuve dint get much of a chance as the M's sweep the Astros in their
ballpark pretty convincingly. Day off in Chicago Thursday and then 3-games
with the White Sox. Seattle at Chicago games are always interesting and
we got the 4th of July and Sun oppose Pluto. Hope Seattle comes out on
top.
