MLB postseason 2014

The M's came so close to being in the "show" coming

down to the last game of the season and Oakland

found a way to win their game and so season over

for the Seattle Mariners. So have to put aside my

Mariner memories for now and start thinking about

who I might want to root for the rest of the month

of October. Need to mention right now that the whole

MLB playoffs will be under MIR (Mercury in Retrograde

for those new to the program) which means right away

"underdog" is going to emerge to take the World Serious.

Seems a little bit early for the MIR Shadow period tonight

at KC but that AL Wildcard game between the Royals and

A's had some MIR to it as it was extra-innings and walk-off

win by the Royals. Have to say I've noticed how good this

KC Royals team is all season. M's swept them in KC last

time in town but I'm getting off point...they rebounded

after that they are my team to represent the AL in the

World Serious. I must say I could be a Baltimore fan as

well. KC vs Baltimore for the ALCS.

Last night's game between the Royals and Oakland was a nail biter from the sixth on. Damn sure looked like Oakland would take it, 7-6. Then KC tied it after a single, stolen base, bunt, and a scored run.

That continued right up to the last of the twelfth. A triple, and a single won it. Did you notice the Royals stole 4 bases during the game? They did a lotta things like a National League team. Steals, bunt hits... Use the bull pen. Pinch hit, pinch run...

And their outfit looks like the United nations of Baseball! But the next few ain't gonna be easy either. The Angels are first rate, and Baltimore plays real heads-up fundamental ball too! It's tu bad that baseball drags out so damn long though. The World Series should been done by now. August at the latest. Late summer... August. That's why we've been calling 'em "The boys of Summer" like forever!

Brandon Moss belted two homers, but Kansas City battled back to force extras. After Alberto Callaspo put the A's ahead in the 12th, Eric Hosmer hit a one-out triple, scored on Christian Colon's infield single and then Salvador Perez belted a walk-off single.

It was game over for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the top of
the 4th inning when unheralded SF Giant SS Brandon
Crawford hit a grand-slam and the Giants never looked back.
You know its "MIR" when you start hearing the phrase
"first time in history". 1st time a SS hit a gran-slam homer
in post-season play. The fans in Pittsburgh are feeling the
MIR pain right now as they get shutout big at home and
their season is over. I like the Giants vs Nationals match-up.
Going to be "MIR" baseball which means many great games
to watch. The MLB umpires have worked with the instant
replay reviews of challenged calls all season so that could
cut down on any bad calls "due to MIR". Still you have to
contend with the way the ball bounces and I'm sure its going
to take some funny ones. Thinking LA can take St Louis in
their series but you never know.

Looks like Baltimore vs the Royals! Woulda enjoyed seein' Detroit in it, alas they'll go home! And the Angels didn't have a prayer. Sorry boys, go home tu!

KC scored 8 on 9 hits, while LA scored 3 on 8 hits! Mike Moustakas smacked two homers outa the park for the Royals! Their line up reads like the United Nations of baseball! And they've got depth in the bullpen tu!

The ALCS should be a lotta phun ta watch! Royals and Orioles. Two very, very good teams! And that's why they're in it. Ta winnit!

The KC Royals have made history getting to this point in
the AL playoffs with 3-straight extra-inning wins in the
playoffs and some other records as well. I just knew
the Angels werent going to do anything against them.
MIR hit the Angels real hard as Josh Hamilton did
nada and all the high paid Angels hitters just couldnt
find it as well as CJ Wilson who goes 2/3's inning of
inning one. I almost feel sorry the Angels as seeing
such a great season just swirl down the drain. But
thats baseball in the "crapshoot" of the MLB postseason.
So now KC and Baltimore have 4 days off with MIR
influencing your free time. By the time Friday night
in Baltimore comes around and this great match-up
of AL teams, who will be the same team 4-days ago?
MIR will be in effect the whole series so I think ya
got to watch this ALCS matchup. Venus oppose Uranus
on Oct 11th which will be in effect for game one and two
in Baltimore. It may become apparent early what sort
of developments take place. Uranus is in charge of tricky
bounces, freak injuries, the unpredictable. Venus means
what you got into it, your love, your money, your $20
million a year player. So I can see a major player or two
going down this weekend for either the Royals or O's.
There is no way to predict a winner between KC and
Baltimore right now. Ask me Friday what I think.

OK..the National League caught up now and you'd have to say
some serious meltdowns and bad luck for the Dodgers during
"MIR Baseball" as they seemed ready with Kershaw pitching
and he fell flat on his face once real bad and then once only
bad. Thats what can happen with MIR...mental issues..
thinking too much..making mistakes with pitches. My whole
life I care not about the St Louis Cardinals..and I still dont.
But while I dont care for the St Louis Cardinals they have a
great team as per usual the last few years. They will be facing
the San Francisco Giants, the wildcard winner and taking the
Nats in 4-games. The Giants along with KC Royals are on the
"MIR Miracle" path to the World Serious. See if that path
continues starting Friday night with KC at Baltimore.
Hope the weather is good for all these games.

Those are Snippy's people because, uh, you know, there's really, um, nothing at all, well, nothing really wrong, uh, you know with, um doing the, uh, you know doing things, uh, your own way, Snippy guesses, you know, uh, if that's ummm, the way, you know, that you, uh want to do it, you know.

I think Snippy wishes he was in the San Francisco stands
where all the funny smelling smoke is wafting. Get a chance to
see if that kind of thing happens again in 2014.

Now if yer a St Louis Cardinal fan (which is short for fanatic),

the smell of "expent weed smoke" is not likely at Busch Stadium

more like spilt beer..I'm just guessing. So each ballpark has

its different smells and I'm going with SF on this one.

If the Giants can get past the Cards and get into the World

Serious, those SF home games are going to get "very fragrent"

as the high rollers that can afford tickets to these games are

going to bring their best stash with them and feel like sharing

with other fanatics. "Medical Baseball grade Marijuana for fans".

So we wait until Saturday for game one at St Louis vs the SF Giants.

This looks like MLB's schedule for the National League Championship, and the American League Championship Series tu! The championship series between Baltimore and KC is the rarest kinda series going!

The TV/live viewership oughta be huge! This one will probably predict the World Series winner tu! The shedule from MLB:
