BNSF derails and blows up another oil train: Galena, IL

Would have to say this derailment had "celestial help"

as its within 24hrs of a Venus trine Jupiter, Venus conjunct

Uranus, Moon square Saturn, Moon oppose Uranus,

Venus square Pluto, Sun sextile Pluto, and the omni-

present Uranus square Pluto. Seems this oil train

derailment happened where it was just woods

which is a lucky break for the BNSF. In this Drain Oder

thread someone mentions the railroads making a

million dollars for every oil train they run which seems

a payday hard to refuse. Next someone mentions sabatoge.

The rash of oil train derailments could be a statement to

get the Keystone Pipeline built. An if every one of the

current rash of oil train derailments just happens to be

not an accident.

Watched the 10PM Fox Local News Friday night and it had
a follow-up on the BNSF-Galena Ill oil train derailment and
it was still shooting up flames a day later. Someone also
in the orig TO thread mentioned the possibility of "dilluting"
this oil a "tad" so that it doesnt blow-up. Thats where I might
shift my hope that maybe this "really crude" can undergo
an extra step of refining to make this stuff safer to transport.
Seems within the relms of possibility.

Except that the stupid fucking railroads have already blown up enough of it to make finding an alternative to rail a priority.

Oh well. My feelings are well known on what I think about oil trains.

A article I read in the Saturday Everett Herald said the BNSF
runs 32 oil trains a week over these tracks..all that high-
octane oil from North Dakota. If they run 32 loaded oil a week
then they must run 32 empty oil trains a week as well.
64 tank trains a week. I think you couldnt help notice a
new trend in railroad traffic on the BNSF as this became
everyday reality. Its seems pretty clear is that the west
coast is hardly recieving any oil compared to whats been
going "east" of North Dakota.

Here's a link for you Krink..   There is a little bit of bias in the slant

they present but there are a few facts that might be interresting too

you...   http://priceofoil.org/rail/

Made a note of that mntman. So I guess you would be qualified
as a good guesser as well as myself..so when does the GPNW
have its "turn" with a firey derailment. I hope never but there
is always a MIR period ahead of us during the year where shit
happens. Have to say the BNSF mainlines all around the state
of WA are mostly concete ties with atleast 132-136lb CWR and
so lack of maintaince is not an issue. Things that have been of
issue lately is the mudslides that plague the BNSF Seattle to Everett
Scenic Subdiv. The Sounder Commuter trains as well as Amtrak
have been cancelled between Everett and Seattle so many times
I cant keep count. A very vital strech of track that has required
a lot of overtime hours by MOW to keep these tracks open for
use. Think they got a "slide-clearing team" stationed at Everett
now. The weather has been a big help lately as no big rains
lately.

The great thing about these explosions is that the crude burns off before it hits the river.

My oil train didn't explode. I don't know if I should be surprised or relieved.

Wouldn't that be more an indication that the Oilers were passing the Stackers? A Double Penetration unit on the rear of the Oilers. Pushing the Oilers into more jackknifing after they derailed at the broken rail near the switch point heater that blew everything up.
