EVANSTON, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a 55-year-old Florida man was arrested after a trooper seized more than 75 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop near Evanston.
Edelberto Herrera, of Miami, was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 80 on Tuesday evening.
The trooper stopped Herrera's white Ford Fusion for going 87 mph in a 75 mph zone. A search of the car turned up the marijuana with an estimated street value of $450,000.
Herrera was arrested on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
A call to the Uinta County Jail to determine if he had hired an attorney went unanswered Wednesday night.

believe it or not... they make a lot of drug busts on that section of interstate... always for something stupid.. speeding, headlight out, tinted windows, etc.
