Qualifying for the Indy 500 during the MIR shadow period proved to be recognized as not the right year to set new speed records. With 3 crashes in practice as speeds were too high for the celestial conditions the powers to be for Indy Car Racing mandated "race-trim" setups for all cars trying to qualify for the Indy 500 which is somewhere around 223-226mph which is plenty fast. Need to mention that qualifying was set back to Sunday because it rained like hell on Saturday...your first sign of MIR..."delay" in everything.
IndyCar makes changes to cars for Indy 500 qualifying after multiple crashes
Looking at the aspects for the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600
on Sunday May 24th will have MIR and the Moon Void of Course
for the day. When its not MIR, Void of Course Moon is like a
reminder of MIR as similar strange things happen in a shorter
time span (minutes/hours vs 21 days). Have Venus square
Uranus and Mars square Neptune exact on Monday and I
can guarantee all this celestial influence will effect these
big races. Think we might see some of the
scariest crashes by a race car and some one could die in a
racing accident this weekend.

I would say the Indy 500 had the most MIR effects and
you have to appreciate Juan Pablo Montoya's win as this
guy has been around. Won an Indy 500 and then went
to NASCAR and dint do sqwat for many years and then
returned to Indy racing and its his calling obviously.
The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte dint have any crashes
at all..mostly one driver tagging the wall and a "debris
yellow" would come out. The longest race in NASCAR
still was an enjoyable watch. Carl Edwards has won 25
Sprint Cup races but none recently so its MIR that
Carl Edwards wins and I was thinking almost immediately
of the backflip Carl does from his racecar after a win.
Carl nails his backflip. Just a feelgood story to add
Carl Edwards to the "chase". Next up MIR racing at the
"Monster Mile" at Dover.

Martin Truex wins the Pocono 400. Seems MIR took him
to victory lane and a spot in the "Chase". Martin Truex
has been running real strong all season without a win
but his 3rd win of his career comes at Pocono during
MIR.

I thought about responding to many press articles about
American Pharoh chances at the Triple Crown knowing
it was going to be run under MIR and a good chance the horse
wont win. But the other side of MIR is that the horse is not
effected by MIR which you know is going to be very valuable.
Havent looked back at the dates of every Belmont Stakes but
MIR could be a factor and hence not many triple-crown winners.

SF Giant rookie pitcher tosses a no-hitter at New York Mets.
Chris Heston hits 3 batters but doesnt give up a hit. I've
seen no-hitters before on the last day of MIR. Congrats
to the young SF hurler.
