Well, the first pic is of the shop supervisor looking things over. His clean vest tells the whole railroad world that he doesn't work, at least on Diesel engines.
The second pic shows the man who gets his hands dirty. It's up in the air if he really fixes anything tho since the lack of black smoke in the air means the engine is not running.
bye and bye I'd say these guys crashed the wheel machine and are standing outside looking innocent.
I think its a new era after ***'* time. Seems its fix
or service on the fly anywhere. Delta Yard Everett WA
has roundhouse force that fix just about evereything.
I dont know where locos with flat wheels are sent today.
