It wasnt a clear win by Detroit as if a penalty flag was thrown
on the play "correctly"...Detroit still has to punch it in from the
1-yard line..where there is no guarantee they could do so. You can
jot this down in your memory banks as football plays during MIR.
Seems this North end zone now has a history of very memorable
calls with the Golden Tate reception against Green Bay and the
Tony Romo fumble and a couple others including this game.
Thankfully next Sundays games dont have MIR but something
maybe worse..Venus square Saturn and Sun oppose Uranus.
Seems some "more" to add to the injured list. Hope the Hawks
can manage this celestial energy and come home in one piece
and still healthy.

It would have been at least a tie however the Detroit run game was better than the passing game so I could remain hopeful they could punch it in. Given the actual penalty, the ball would have been placed on the "Foot and a half" line since a Seahawks penalty would have put the ball half the distance from the goal.

Either way, a blown call possibly costing Detroit the win due to inept officiating.  As the post was about, fine the refs for rule violations.

First off, tone it down home boy.

Let LAMCO labor relations handle them. Dismissal for every blown call.

Some team is going to get the benefit of a "MIR" blown call and
I'm glad it was Seattle. Refs had no idea until after the game as
this is not a play any had seem before thus not knowing what to do.
Got to get "experience" under your belts...refs and no better time
than a MIR game. The magic of MIR dissapears for a coulple months
on the NFL schedule so those 4-0 teams may hit reality moving forward.
Hope Cinncinnati falls apart next Sunday.

I'm going to use the MIR thing in my next investigation. "Look, I never knew that so I should get off the hook".

Think you could be a "crusader" of some sorts by just mentioning
the results of MIR 3-times a year on the railroad industry. From
derailments, to computer failures, to floods and washouts and
hurricanes, and the most common is "miscommunications".
If I had anything to say to the railroads is that they should
issue General Track Bulletins stating that MIR will be in effect
for the time period and you need to really pay attention to
what your are doing.

Then again, you could invoke Jeb's latest quote for everything else: "Stuff happens..."

Cincy came back ta blow Seattle's big lead in the fourth quarter, and left Pete Carrol speechless. Almost. He managed a few whispered words after the boys went down. Sad. Really sad. And shameful.

I'm pretty sure most Seahawk faithful were almost semi-resigned
that the Hawks could lose this game to the 5-0 Bengals at their place.
But to most everybodys surprise the Hawks played very well and
had a 17-point lead going into the 4th quarter. Then a combination
of things happened to where the Bengals battled back to tie it with
1 second left on the clock. 2nd OT loss by a field goal on the road
this season. Pete Carroll says he needs to look at the game film
on this game and says this loss was his fault. So the Hawks return
to Seattle to take on Carolina and see if they can repeat the 3-3
start of 2014 of which got way better after that.

Apparently the Earth's rotation helped the Bengals win on Sunday.
I'm learning about this along with you members for the first time.

Neil deGrasse Tyson: Earth's rotation helped Bengals win

So maybe a recap/observation is in order describing the Seahawks
first 6 games this season. Game 1 on the road against the "unbeaten"
St Louis Rams results in an OT loss by a FG. Game 2 on the road
against "unbeaten" Green Bay where the Hawks had the lead going
into the 4th quarter and Aaron Rogers has the game of his life and
Seattle loses by 10pts. Game 3 at home against the "winless"
Chicago Bears and the Hawks win 26-0. Game 4 at home against
the "winless" Detroit Lions and the Hawks win that game. Game 5
on the road at the "unbeaten" Cinncinnati Bengals and lost it in the
4th quarter again. Game 6 at Seattle with the "unbeaten" Carolina
Panthers and again a 4th quarter meltdown in the last minute of
play. Some tough losses last 2-weeks. Seahawks need to figure
some stuff out and quickly as they venture to SF 49'ers Thursday
Night as for the first time this season the Hawks play an opponent
with wins and losses. Both teams 2-4 for the season and going 2-5
is not something the Seahawks or the 49'ers want.

That's just plain crude and mean.

Is that the 12th man in those boats?

Think Seahawk fans have seen what I have seen and that "one"
play seems to be the difference between a win or a loss. Maybe
its a "sign" of the season but I think this group can figure it out
and have a good season still.

No....the 12th man was the fire alarm at the Panther's hotel.
