2015 World Serious...Mets vs Royals
Permalink

Been amazed by both teams during the playoffs. Would have to
pick the Royals being the AL but if the Mets start to emerge huge
I could enjoy that moment as well. Still think I will want the Royals
to win it. Crappy weather for game one at KC so look for some delays.
Should be a great series.

Game 1 goes 14-innings and 5hrs 9mins and the Royals win it in the 14th on
a sac fly by Hosmer who makes up for the error he made earlier in the game.
Chris Young pitched for the M's a couple seasons with mixed results and as
a free agent signed on with KC and had a 11-6 season as a starter. I couldn't
be happier for the guy to get to pitch in the World Serious and pitch 3 no-hit
in relief...the most important innings in the game to get the "win". He wins
his first game in the World Serious in his first appearance.

No Slackaction...it dint go 14 innings...it went 9-innings thanks to
a great game pitched by one Johnny Cueto as he gets a CG 2-hitter
over the Mets 7-1 and the Mets have reason to worry going back to
NY for 3-games (if necessary). My astrology program has yet to be
loaded into my new computer but I found that Johnny Cueto was
born Feb 15, 1986 and a Aquarian pitcher. I know the Aquarian
sports athlete as they always have some talents and trickery that
keeps them in the sport. I swear that Johnny has been studying
King Felix's "Louis Tiant modified" twist delivery. Think the King
would be flattered that maybe he started something. Cueto will
start game 6 at KC (if necessary). Friday night in NY the World
Serious resumes.

Alas, the minor league has again gotten into one of those 75-80% LOUD PROBABILITIES.

Game 3 at New York had a very highly charged up crowd on hand for the first
WS game at Citi-Park home of the Mets. Cold night with game time temps in
low 50's with a stiff breeze/wind. Mets needed to get into the win-column and
they did just that as Wright and Granderson go deep with 2-run hrs and Mets keep
adding on for the 9-3 win over the Royals. Big star for the Mets this night was
Noah Syndegaard going 6 brave innings and only giving up 3-runs. Had to lookup
Noah Syndegaard's birthdate and Noah is a Virgo 8-29-92. Once a Virgo gets
dialed in they can do good. The long blondish hair flying around with the wind
as he prepares for the next pitch goes back to the times of the Romans.
Chris Young gets the start for game 4 for KC. I have to put aside all my memories
of Chris pitching for M's and see if he can continue that 3-innings of no-hit in
game one to game 4.

Chris Young pitched 4+ innings and only gave up 2-runs which you
have to feel happy about and the KC offence kept it close until late
when they got 3-runs off Jeurys Familia in the top of the 8th...the Mets
"Money closer". Second time this serious that KC has handed Familia
an "L". That's is not a good sign for the Mets. So KC goes with their
game 1 starter Edison Volquez (b. 7/3/83 Cancer) trying to get a win
this serious. Only thing is his dad died during his first start without
him knowing it. Edison went home to the DR inbetween starts to take
care of business and is back with the club and ready to make his scheduled
start. How much you want to bet that Edison Volquez wants to pitch the
best game of his life for his late father. KC could wrap it up in NY if Edison
pitches that game.
