BNSF loves pizza because it helps keep the economy moving. Were happy to be a part of the process. Last year, BNSF moved enough cheese to make 390 million large pizzas. To transport cheese, we use refrigerated box cars, known as reefers, which can hold 150,000 pounds of cheese per car. Reefers are also used to carry frozen meat, fish, vegetables and other perishable products that require refrigeration.
BNSF is proud to do our part in keeping hungry students, sports fans and pizza lovers fed and the economy moving one slice at a time.
