It's Cleveland and the troubles continue. Meanwhile, go Native Americans!

CINCINNATI, Ohio - What's more challenging for Browns coach Hue Jackson than being down to his third-string rookie quarterback in the third week of the season?

How about being down to his other rookie quarterback, the fourth-stringer, by Week 7?

That's what happened in Cincinnati when Cody Kessler was knocked out of Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Bengals with a concussion with 7:27 left in the second quarter. He was replaced by fellow rookie Kevin Hogan, who was called up from the practice squad last week.

Say, *cy*, how does that new NFL concussion protocol work?
Maybe there's something in the NFL Rule Book?

Why doesn't LAMCO include it in the official LAMCO Rule Book. (Now known as "Operating Manuals" in LAMCOspeak, BTW.)

Snippy, Cy probably knows as much about it, or even less, than Snippy does. Since moving away from the longtime homeland, Cy has paid much less attention to the NoFunLeague and far less attention to what must be the mostly hapless Colts.

I don't think Pacman Jones cares much for Terrelle Pryor.

I remember when Pryor was at OSU, and no one had anything good to say about him.  I thought it was just the usual call-in haters.....but now dude pisses off DB's every weekend.

He might be a douche,  but his girl though...

Well, at least Hue Jackson was grateful about one thing:

Griffins injury history is such that Browns coach Hue Jackson saw a simple positive in that fact that the QB didnt get injured Sunday.

I'm not sure it's possible to have a 0.000 QB rating. Is it?

"They" said in one of the other games' halftime shows that RGIII was "2 for 10 and had a 0 (ZERO) quarterback rating" going into the third quarter of yesterday's game. "They" didn't seem like they were joking.

It must be noted that RGIII had a strong second half and finished with a 38.4 QBR for the game, 21.3 QBR for the season.

Snippy optimistically notes that the Browns are unable to go 0-17 during the regular season this year.

In the National Football League (NFL), the lowest official passer rating that a quarterback (QB) can achieve is 0.0. To achieve a passer rating of 0.0, a QB must have no touchdowns, complete no more than 30% of his pass attempts, average less than 3 yards per attempt and throw an interception on at least 9.5% of attempts. The NFL does not, however, count such games by QBs who attempt fewer than 10 passes in a game.

Snippy's boosting his post count again. Cy would never do that (or talk about himself in the third person).

Keeping the Browns Nation proud:

CLEVELAND
Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Reggie Rucker will have nearly $400 a month garnished from his NFL pension payments after stealing from his nonviolence nonprofit groups.

Rucker was sentenced last year to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay $110,000 for using money from two charities to pay gambling debts and personal expenses. Cleveland.com reports the garnishments recently approved by a judge are Rucker's first meaningful payments to the Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance and other groups.

His attorney has said the 69-year-old intends to pay restitution using money he might get from a class-action settlement between the NFL and athletes who suffered concussions. That claims process might take years.

His attorney blamed Rucker's actions on a gambling addiction caused by football-related brain injuries. Prosecutors scoffed at that argument.

Will he get wet, Troll?

CLEVELAND Hue Jackson wore his aching heart on his sleeve during his first season as Browns coach.

While the losses mounted, Jackson fought back surfacing emotions that threatened to overwhelm him. And when Cleveland's nightmarish march the worst season in franchise history ended, teasingly shy of 0-16 infamy, Jackson joked that if his team ever went 1-15 again he would jump in Lake Erie.

Jackson's odds of staying dry look more promising.
