Apparently somebody knows him, or knows of him, or about him. He put in 30 years of service with CSX, or a predecessor outfit. Most likely after his military service, which included TWO tours in Vietnam.
He hired out, no doubt, on the Seaboard Coast Line. Only fellow I knew who was a hogger there was Paul Sorrow, who was out of Abbeville, SC. Maybe Paul knew him. Paul is the one who preached to us, "Don't let yourself get fenced in with your prior-rights".
