They must have Freddie. Since forever trains originating out of Seattle going to Wenatchee went
the distance of 151 miles with hardly a problem in BN days. Most could make it 5-6hrs. That was
then. The make-up of trains going over Stevens Pass every day is now is 3-4 empty coal trains and
3 empty oil trains, the EVESPO/SPOEVE and several Z-trains each way and vehicle trains and Tacoma
to Chicago stack trains. Everything hot. The empty trains going after another load is high priority especially
the empty oil trains where its a million dollars to ship one loaded. So back to the new re-crew arrangement
it will announce many trains that used to pass thru Everett without a word to anybody. Trains that are photogenic.

Saturday everything right for train picture trip to Everett except no blue sky. It was that perfect 2hr trip
where there was something going on everywhere. Spent most of it in the "northern arena of Everett".
Visted Languth Park which sits between I-5 and Snohomish River and a view of BNSF Delta Yard sort of.
There was a garbage train leaving (EVEROO) and it was blocking the view of an empty coal train. Then
it was the BNSF 8562 coal train power sitting perfectly between a pier of the I-5 bridge over the Snohomish
River. Thats hard to beat. Then it was a slow drag race of a yard job and an oil train at what used to be called
"Long Siding" now track 311/312. The oil train goes to MP36 and "tie it down". Then it was catching a loaded
coal train leaving Everett northward over BR 37.8 Steamboat Slough. All this coal is going to a power plant
in China I found out. Then added my best pictures yet of the Rocky Mountaineer departing Everett north.
Nice day.

Saturday November 17 2018 clear and cold and chemtrails and the courage to drive into Everett and see what
BNSF is doing. Same shit different day which means trains everywhere. Getting harder to find some location in
Everett where I dont have a picture from. Happened upon the ROOEVE (Roosevelt-Everett empty garbage) creeping
around Bayside Yard heading to Delta Yard on what used to be "Long Siding" and is now track 312. This viewpoint
was one I saw everyday going to work at the bridge as I had to enter Weyerhauser Kraft Mill to get to the parking
spot for bridgetenders. Next radio chatter had me going to Marysville as an empty coal train coming south in good
sunlight. Next radio chatter took me back into Everett to south Bayside Yard next to where Scott Paper used to be
and an inbound loaded coal train creeping by. Then a bonus chemtrail picture for your scrapbook.

Excellent pics Krink! Surprised ta see the Rocky Mountaineer being pulled by the old SD-60Ms. I guess the old gals have a few more years on 'em b'fore they're sold to Mexico, or scrapped!

Thanks Uke for the "like". Might need to look again to see if those Rocky Mountaineer units are "SD60-M's". Actually the
lead unit RMRX 8014 is a "GP40-2LW" and the 8019 is a "GP40-2R". More than enough HP for this passenger train.

Christmess Eve Day was sunshine and a just a few chemtrails and I felt like getting out and get some Christmess train pictures.
Being a railroad holiday you never know whats running but past Xmas's they run trains. Listening to the BNSF airwaves knew
there were 3 northbound trains at Bayside that were going nowhere for a while. Worth the drive in for a 3-wide picture but found
one train pulled up to MP 36 (no picture) and so it was 2-wide which is still pretty good. Bayside yard real easy to photograph and
the late December sun angle makes for interesting lighting. Then I thought that was going to be it but I hear the detector go off at
MP1778.6 with an axel count of 314 which means a WB Ztrain will be in Everett momentarily. Wheeled the Jetta into the commuter
parking lot across from Everett Station and timed it perfect. Also heard the Ztrain was stopping to let off a crewmember which made
things slower. Its nice being tall to shoot pictures over a 6ft high iron fence. I like this location but its also has wandering homeless
people. This may be it for Christmas train pictures as Christmess Day weather may be cloudy but you never know.
