Scary shit watching these guys drop ties and rails right close to their bare feet! Oh yeah watch that bull (bullock) swinging over the hold  on that freighter, then dropped, before they cut away... Loading sacks of sugar and grain for "Merry Olde England" of course!

Garrats locos tu. All that steel for the railways in Southern Africa was made in Europe back then, post WW-I Belgium, Germany, and England all colonized the region south of the equator. Rhodesia today is Zambia and Zimbabwe. Belgian Congo is now just Congo. And holds about a quarter of the worlds natural rubber, and copper, not ta mention iron ore, and othr minerals.

Been up to Victoria Falls (shown in the flic) tu! They all still run meter gauge all over Southern Africa today. No stackers though!
