Maybe the guy just died, then fell while walking along some railroad tracks.

But the cops of course aren't releasing details. We don't know what railroad.

Short line, Class-I (CSX, LAMCO, LINTCO...)?

Could be a clue: CSX officials notified them of a body near the railroad tracks in the area of Colvin Avenue and Linden Avenue.

 Probably because LAMCO was busy trying to find a discrete human remains disposal squad to avoid train delays.

Besides CSXT, NS, CP, and CN,  are listed as sharing this track which is a direct route between US and Canada.

This could dam well be an International (ask your Local C) incident.

You need ta keep on top of this storey ***, We need border security.

A quickie clip in that story showed a LAMCO train crossing an old bridge nearby, so the guy may have been struck by a LAMCO freighter, AMTRAK, LINTCO, Con-Rail, or alcohol/durg combo, medical; cardiac arrest, stroke, suicide-by train, act of Gawd (Hizownselph), or none of the above.

Well back ta square 1 (one) again. If ya got no biz out there on the ROW, stay off the rails! Ya could end up dead.
